Laburnum anagyroides (Laburnum / Golden Chain Tree) is a deciduous flowering tree known for its dramatic cascades of bright yellow, pea-like flowers in late spring. The blooms hang in long, fragrant racemes, creating a striking ornamental display.
Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It typically reaches a mature height of around 5–7 metres, making it ideal for feature planting, archways, or small ornamental trees in gardens.
Note: all parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
