A compact, densely branched maple whose foliage emerges bright red and deepens to rich maroon through summer, finishing bright red again in autumn. Its naturally tight, bushy habit needs little pruning.
Slow-growing to around 1.5–2m — one of the best red acers for containers and small gardens. Sheltered spot, sun or part shade.
