Prunus 'Taihaku' - Great white cherry

Prunus 'Taihaku', commonly known as the Great White Cherry, is one of the most spectacular ornamental flowering trees available. Celebrated for its enormous pure white blossoms, graceful spreading canopy and stunning seasonal colour, it creates an unforgettable display in spring and makes a magnificent focal point for gardens, parks and avenues. In early to mid-spring, before the foliage has fully developed, the branches are covered in masses of exceptionally large, fragrant white flowers, some reaching up to 6cm across.
