Photinia × fraseri ‘Carré Rouge’ is a striking evergreen shrub known for its vibrant red new growth that contrasts beautifully with mature glossy green leaves. It is widely used for hedging and screening, adding strong year-round colour and structure to the garden.
Fast-growing and easy to maintain, it responds very well to regular pruning. It can reach a mature height of around 3–5 metres, but is commonly kept at 1.5–3 metres when used as a hedge. It can also be grown and pleached, making it an excellent choice for creating formal screens and structured garden features.
