Syringa × persica (Persian Lilac) is a compact, deciduous shrub with finely textured foliage and highly fragrant clusters of pale lilac to violet flowers in late spring. It offers a softer, more delicate appearance than common lilac varieties, making it ideal for smaller gardens and mixed borders.
Hardy and easy to grow, it prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It typically reaches a mature height of around 1.5–2.5 metres, forming a neat, rounded habit with seasonal colour and fragrance.
