Chamaerops humilis (European Fan Palm) is a hardy, evergreen palm with distinctive fan-shaped, blue-green to grey-green fronds that form dense clumps. It adds a bold, architectural, Mediterranean feel to gardens and is one of the most cold-tolerant palms available.
Slow-growing and low maintenance, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It typically reaches a mature height of around 2–4 metres, making it ideal for exotic planting schemes, coastal gardens, and container growing.
