A superb compact weeping laceleaf from New Zealand. The deeply cut foliage emerges bright scarlet, matures to dark burgundy and holds its colour in sun better than almost any other red dissectum, finishing flaming scarlet in autumn.
Slow-growing to around 1.5–2m — outstanding in a container. Shelter from cold winds and summer drought.
